My Story
Hi, I'm Stephanie. I have over 25 years of experience in the counseling profession with positions ranging from academia, private practice therapist, school counselor, clinical director of an intensive outpatient program, and administrator for a residential facility. I earned my doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Georgia State University, Atlanta and I earned my master’s degree from Loyola University, New Orleans. i have held leadership positions in national professional organizations and am a regular presenter at the regional, national, and international level. I have published multiple book chapters and journal articles. In my current role as a therapist at Headspace, I work individually with adolescents and adults struggling with issues around depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, career issues, mid-life issues, parenting issues, and grief. I also work with families and small groups.
